Tell us about yourself
Born and raised in Visakhapatnam, I have 20 years of experience across domains and functions. My hobbies are Photography, Running, Blogging and Travelling. I started to read books as recent as a couple of years and picked up the speed. I believe in giving back to society and as part of that, I donate blood regularly and have registered for organ donation.
Talk us through your function and its responsibility in Uniphore
I am responsible to lead the effort to rapidly grow revenues and profitability for the India Business. I align the overall corporate strategy and the go-to-market strategy to roll out programs that will build best-in-class sales capability, ensuring that the sales organization has the direction, information, resources, and tools for execution. Though the primary focus is on acquiring new clients, mining existing clients and growing wallet share will also be integral to this function.
What do you think about the future of Speech recognition technology? How do you see your function helping Uniphore scale up?
Research firm MarketsandMarkets predicts the growth of Speech Recognition market from USD 3.73 billion in 2015 to reach USD 9.97 billion by 2022, at a CAGR of 15.78%.
India is a hotbed for contact centers and BFSI segment. With this background and given that there are contact centers for every leading product, I see a huge potential not just from Workforce Optimization standpoint, but also for increasing the Revenue, Risk and Compliance Management, maintaining high CSAT/ NPS scores, etc.
