  • Umesh Sachdev

    CEO and Co-founder

    Umesh Sachdev is the CEO and Co-founder of Uniphore, one of the largest AI-native, multimodal enterprise-class SaaS companies in the world.  Sparked by his vision and focus to use AI technology to bridge the gap between humans and machines, today Umesh is recognized as an enterprise AI pioneer, bringing knowledge AI, generative AI and emotion AI into a single platform, allowing customers to harness AI’s powerful capabilities across voice, video and text-based applications.  Known for his grit as a leader, his passion for customers and his deep understanding of technology, he is called upon to guide some of the world’s largest brands through their digital transformation. Umesh’s strong portfolio of patents serves as a testament to his innovative thinking and commitment to advancing AI technology.

    As an international business leader, Umesh has been recognized with many awards including ‘40 under 40’ Bright Young Business Leaders in the Economic Times, ‘Next Generation Leader’ by Time Magazine, and previously, as an ‘Innovator Under 35’ by MIT Tech Review.  Umesh is an alumnus of Jaypee Institute of Information Technology and an accomplished speaker and highly sought-after presenter.

  • Annie Weckesser

    Chief Marketing Officer

    As Chief Marketing Officer, Annie leads the marketing and communications team responsible for building reputation, engagement, and demand across the globe.  Prior to this role, Annie spent three years as both the Chief Marketing and People Officer for Uniphore, which included leading all functions of marketing and HR, facilities as well as acquisition integration. Before joining Uniphore, Annie was part of the leadership team at NIO, a next generation car company, leading US marketing and communications from startup through a successful IPO. Previously, Annie held various strategic communications and marketing roles for the global technology giant Cisco for nine years. Throughout her career, she has counselled and partnered with some of the world’s most senior corporate and government leaders and their teams. She has a passion for building companies, great spaces and achieving incredible things with stellar teams. Annie is an advisory board member for the Leavey School of Business at Santa Clara University. She resides in Saratoga with her husband and three young children.

  • Ravi Saraogi

    Co-founder and President APAC

    Ravi, Co-founder & President-APAC, leads Sales, Delivery and Customer Success for Uniphore. His passion for mobile learning applications and technologies found traction when Uniphore was founded. Ravi and Umesh envisioned building solutions that give more power to human speech.

    He has vast experience in directing technology teams in initiatives spanning mobile theft security, wireless network development, and mobile learning applications. Ravi is currently an active member of the Mobile Payment Forum of India (MPFI), where he identifies and develops business opportunities in the field of mobile payments. He is known for his excellent analytical skills, dexterity in problem resolution, and proclivity for driving operational excellence. Ravi is an alumnus of Jaypee Institute of Information Technology.

  • Stephane Berthier

    Chief Financial Officer

    Stephane Berthier is Chief Financial Officer at Uniphore. He brings over 30 years of accounting and finance experience. As CFO, he leads the accounting, finance business support, financial planning and analysis, investors relations and tax functions at Uniphore.

    Stephane has worked in Europe and the United States where he has garnered extensive knowledge of both domestic and international finance, SaaS businesses and international operations. He was a partner at PricewaterhouseCoopers for over twenty years prior to joining Uniphore.

    Stephane lives in the San Francisco Bay Area, and he has earned his Master’s degree in finance and accounting from the University of Jean Moulin, Lyon, France.

  • Sylvain Tremblay

    Chief Revenue Officer

    Sylvain Tremblay is the Chief Revenue Officer at Uniphore. Prior to this, Sylvain was the SVP of Video AI and Emotion Intelligence (EQ) solutions for two years. After spending 25+ years transforming organizations and leading GTM teams, Sylvain brings a wealth of knowledge in leading change and driving innovation at scale.

    Formerly Global Virtual Sales & Customer Success at Cisco, he led the innovation strategy and implementation of the company’s first AI and analytics-based sales motion and the digitization of Cisco’s customers lifecycle experience. Sylvain’s focus on accelerating innovation across the Americas and building winning team cultures led to him deliver 44 consecutive quarters of growth. This sustained growth has been directly attributed to his clarity of vision, simplicity of approach and a delicate balance between innovation and execution.

    Sylvain holds an engineering degree from the “Université de Sherbrooke” and Postgraduate coursework from McGill University’s International Business program and UCLA. Originally from Quebec, Canada, Sylvain now resides in Nashville with his family.

  • Tushar Shah

    Chief Product Officer

    Tushar Shah has held numerous leadership roles throughout his career. He joins Uniphore from NationBenefits, where he served as president and CEO of Fintech, driving approximately $1B worth of spend. Prior to that he was the senior vice president at PayPal where he led product and engineering, and managed credit, identity, risk, compliance, customer service, machine learning and AI platforms.  Shah also played a role in the critical aspects of the separation between PayPal and eBay in 2015 and in the rapid growth of PayPal’s market cap since then. Among his other leadership roles is spending a decade at Bank of America as a technology senior executive for consumer banking, e-commerce, sales and services and software engineering. Earlier in his career, Tushar worked in IT for Teleglobe (Bell Canada) and customer care for Broadslate Networks and WorldCom (Verizon).

  • Stephanie Garcia

    Chief People Officer

    She is responsible for leading the company’s global people & places team across talent acquisition, onboarding, HR business partners, total rewards and facilities. Stephanie’s passion for leading exceptional customer and team-focused cultures is key as Uniphore scales for continued global growth.

    Stephanie is a recognized leader in the cloud industry, bringing nearly 20 years of experience at several high-growth technology companies. Most recently, Stephanie served as Chief People Officer of 8×8. Previously, she served as Chief People Officer at Real Chemistry, and in executive roles at Postmates as the head of people leading up to its successful acquisition by Uber, at PayPal as vice president of HR business partners and Talent Acquisition, and at Salesforce as Vice President HR business partners. Prior to HR she served in customer-facing roles at Oracle.

    Stephanie lives in the San Francisco Bay Area. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in English from University of the Pacific, and a Master’s degree in Human Resource Management from Notre Dame de Namur University.

  • Balaji Raghavan

    Chief Technology Officer

    Balaji Raghavan is Chief Technology Officer at Uniphore.  Balaji joins Uniphore with two decades of experience building large-scale software solutions that have reshaped how people get things done in their lives at both start-up environments and large established teams at places like Google and Lyft.  Before joining Uniphore, Balaji was at Lyft where he led engineering teams on Marketplace, rider and driver experiences, core services, mapping and machine learning.  He joined Lyft when they acquired the startup he co-founded FinitePaths in 2017.  Balaji also worked at Google for over a decade, building and scaling solutions for Enterprise products and helping develop the backends of Calendar, Drive, Chat and other Google Apps products. Balaji holds a master’s in computer science from the University of Southern California. When not thinking about game-changing technology to transform industries, he enjoys spending time outdoors either gardening, hiking or biking.  He resides in Los Altos, California.

  • Vinod Muthukrishnan

    Chief Customer Officer

    As Uniphore’s Chief Customer Officer, Vinod Muthukrishnan leads Uniphore’s team responsible for planning, designing, implementing, and optimizing customer solutions globally.  

    Before joining Uniphore, Vinod was the COO for Webex Customer Experience at Cisco. In 2014, Vinod co-founded CloudCherry, a Customer Journey and Experience Management platform acquired by Cisco in the fall of 2019. 

    Before CloudCherry, he lived the zero-to-one journey at another startup called MarketSimplified, as part of the core founding team. MarketSimplified introduced mobile stock and derivative trading to most retail brokerages like TD Ameritrade, OptionsXpress, FXCM and the National Stock Exchange of India, among others. 

    Vinod spent his formative years at sea. He left the Merchant Navy as First Officer with Maersk Line after 9 years aboard multiple ships on worldwide charters.  

    Vinod lives in Pleasanton, California with his wife, two girls and a very vocal husky. He is passionate about building and taking to market new and delightful products, geopolitics, climate change, cricket, and almost anything written by PG Wodehouse or Bill Bryson.  

  • Curt Hill

    Chief Transformation Officer

    Curt Hill is Uniphore’s Chief Transformation Officer.  In this role, he leads several strategic company priorities including acquisition integration and a focus on delivering greater value to customers with Uniphore solutions.

    Curt has spent 26 years at Cisco Systems, having developed advanced technology solutions, simplified complex top-level business issues, strengthened stakeholder alliances, as well as having built collaborative cross-functional teams. He is a strong customer advocate, strategist, growth driver, and change agent. In addition, he is adept at anticipating problems, averting crisis situations, and implementing creative solutions to resolve issues and exceed customer expectations.

    More than just a team player at the office, he is an active participant in inclusion and collaboration in the industry. He is a member of the National Center for Women & Information Technology (NCWIT) Workforce Alliance program and has previously provided job shadowing opportunities through the Cisco Connected Women program.

    Curt earned his Master’s in Computer Science and a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from the University of Phoenix. He is also a Cisco Certified Internetwork Expert and a member of SSPA, TSIA and Field Services.
