For more than a year now, we have all faced significant challenges related to the global pandemic. Still, we have a way to go before we as a people can all move forward.
Now is the time to come together as a community. Our friends, family, and co-workers in India are dealing with exponential COVID-19 cases and hospitalizations. The public and private calls for help and support are increasing. Uniphore co-founder Ravi Saraogi and I have had such calls on a daily basis and many of you have as well. And while we continue to try to manage these individual requests, we need to come together as a people to have a bigger impact.
Below are the actions we are taking as an organization:
- Daily calls to check in on the well-being of our teams and daily office hours for information on insurance coverage, leave, any help needed.
- We have assembled a core team to check on the health status of each of our employees: who is infected, what support is needed, and how we can support them through our extended networks.
- To help prevent further infections, Uniphore will reimburse any employee vaccination expenses and we are encouraging all our people and their families to get vaccinated.
We have announced two financial and charitable support initiatives. As a company, we are supporting GiveIndia to help the broader region and are setting up a Uniphore India Employee Relief Fund so our teams can help each other through this difficult time. For those who want to join us in helping our fellow citizens through GiveIndia, please click the link and donate what you can.
I am always grateful for the Uniphore team, our partners, customers, and investors, especially during challenging times. We appreciate all you are doing for each other and for the business. As always, we are here to help our Uniphore community.
We will come out of this pandemic stronger than ever.
